Auran Ilmalankujan puoleisen julkisivun työt ovat siinä vaiheessa, että raitiovaunuliikenne palaa Ilmalantorille maanantaina 14.8.2023.
Linjan 2 reitti muuttuu Kampissa. Linja siirtyy kulkemaan Fredrikinkadun, Simonkadun ja Rautatieaseman kautta. Pois käytöstä jäävät pysäkit Luonnontieteellinen museo, Lasipalatsi ja Ylioppilastal. Muutos tehdään raitoliikenteen sujuvoittamiseksi syksyyn 2024 asti, jolloin Mannerheimintien katutöiden ensimmäinen vaihe päättyy.
