Ilmala Aura’s topping out ceremony was celebrated last week at the construction site. This traditional marker for a house construction project has many meanings.
Traditionally, a ceremony has been organized when the building has reached crest height and the waterproofing work has been done, while reporting on the progress of the project.
It is not only about the completion of the building, but also about the strength and cooperation of the community. At the ceremony, praise and recognition was given to all parties involved in the construction project and it is a way of showing appreciation for everyone’s work contribution.
The topping out ceremony brought together the different parties of the construction project. Participating in Aura were construction workers, designers, representatives of the client, other partners and tenants who will be able to move into the new premises in the summer of 2024.
Cocktails and music performed by Olli Halonen were enjoyed at the ceremony. Working together, interaction, encounters, energy efficiency and sustainable development were highlighted as the most important themes in the speeches.
