Ilmala Aura, the new office building of the hybrid age rising in Helsinki, has a new owner. The domestic construction company Hartela has signed an agreement with the German real estate investment company Union Investment for the sale of Ilmala Aura this week. Hartela acts as the developer and builder of the project. Construction of the modern office building started this summer and will be completed in 2024.
Ilmala Aura is a modern and streamlined office building with an innovating and central location in Ilmala, Helsinki. In accordance with our company strategy, this real estate strengthens our position in the Nordic countries, says Union Investment’s senior investment manager Kubilay Oezbisikletci.
Ilmalan Aura is under construction and the total area of the five-story office building is approximately 17,000 square meters and the leasable area is approximately 11,500 square meters. Around 70 percent of the leasable areas are rented. The property’s adaptable layouts and versatile services are designed to meet the working life of the future. Ilmala Aura aims to obtain a LEED Gold environmental certificate and the themes of sustainable development have been taken into account from the beginning in the design and construction. The building is centrally located next to the Ilmala train station and the area has great public transportation connections.
